Devarakonda MLA Ramavath Ravindra Kumar Naik was laying development works in R and R colony of Gottimukkala reservoir at Chinthaplly gate in Nalgonda district on Monday.
Nalgonda: Devarakonda MLA Ramavath Ravindra Kumar Naik on Monday said that the State government was committed to extending relief and rehabilitation to the displaced farmers of the irrigation projects.
Laying the foundation stone for CC roads, drainage, water tank and Anganwadi centre building in a colony constructed for oustees of Gottimukkala project at Chinthaplly gate under R and R package, Ravindra Kumar said that the State government would support the displaced persons of the irrigation projects. It was offering the best R and R package to displaced families of the irrigation projects, he added.
He reminded that the irrigation projects have been taken up by the state government to provide irrigation facilities to every acre of land in the State. Works of Gottimukkala reservoir, which was taken up under the Dindi Lift Irrigation Scheme, was completed 95 percent. After completion of Dindi Lift Irrigation Scheme and the Nakkalagandi project, Devarakonda would emerge as an Assembly Constituency which had the highest number of reservoirs in the state, he added. The people of the Assembly Constituency would be indebted to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for it, he added.
