Hyderabad: A complaint was lodged against noted Telugu comedian ‘Hyper’ Aadi by representatives of Telangana Jagruthi Students Federation for allegedly making derogatory comments on Telangana dialect and culture.

The members of the federation approached LB Nagar division ACP Sridhar and submitted the complaint here on Monday.


In the complaint, they alleged that Aadi, who is known for his performance in ‘Jabardasth’, a popular Telugu television show, had in an event made comments demeaning the Bathukamma festival and also the Telangana dialect.

Apart from Aadi, the members also sought to take action against the script writer and the production house.
