Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar directed the district Collectors to complete the ongoing construction of the Collectorate complexes in 12 districts within a week and keep them ready for inauguration.

The construction of Collectorate complexes in the remaining districts will be expedited. At a video conference with the district Collectors and other senior officials on Saturday, the Chief Secretary wanted them to initiate the process for handing over the identified lands to TSIIC (Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation) for taking up special food processing zones.


He also directed them to start the process of handing over the identified lands for the construction of new medical colleges in seven districts recently sanctioned by the government.

Somesh Kumar reviewed the progress of disposal of pending mutations and applications filed under grievances on land matters, prohibited properties on Dharani portal. He instructed to complete all pending works by June 9 to enable the farmers to get benefits under Rythu Bandhu. Similarly, hearings to be conducted in cases pending in special tribunals.
