Complete oxygen plant construction in 10 days: Mahabubabad Collector

Mahabubabad: District Collector VP Gautham has directed the officials concerned to complete construction of the oxygen plant at the government area hospital in 10 days to facilitate treatment of COVID-19 patients.
The Collector, accompanied by revenue and other department officials, inspected the site allotted for the construction of the oxygen plant on Friday and directed them to take steps to ensure oxygen supply to 70 beds at the hospital through the plant. He asked the officials to visit Khammam government hospital and study the construction of the oxygen plant set up there.
Later, Gautham also inspected the ongoing works of the Covid block at the hospital and directed the officials to speed up the works. He also inspected the construction of work of the RTPCR lab at the hospital and ‘expressed displeasure’ over delay in the works. RDO Komuraiah, Government Area Hospital Superintendent Venkataramalu, Telangana State Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation Executive Engineer Srinivas, Tahsildhar Ranjith and others accompanied the Collector.
