Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister V Prashanth Reddy directed the officials, agencies and architects to complete the construction of Secretariat and Telangana Martyr’s Memorial as per schedule. Reviewing the progress of two projects here on Monday, the Minister instructed the officials to expedite the works and complete them as per the work chart
Regarding the Martyr’s Memorial, he directed the officials and architects that there has to be an arrangement of constantly burning flame on the monument, which reflects the martyr’s sacrifices. During the meeting, the Minister was given a floor-wise detailed explanation of the structure, besides a presentation on the design and landscaping being planned at the entrance. A special design has been made depicting children paying floral tributes to the martyr’s at the entrance.
He specifically instructed the officials to ensure that welcome board reads Telangana Martyr’s Memorial monument in Telugu. The officials also made a presentation on the photo exhibition, conference hall, restaurant plans.
On the Secretariat building works, the Minister expressed satisfaction and wanted the officials and agencies to further speed up the works.
He discussed about the Ministers chambers, Officers chambers, and department-wise sections and wanted the agencies to submit the final plan taking into consideration all the instructions made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at the earliest.
