Comprehensive plans needed for development of villages: Errabelli
Minister said development of villages was possible when only the local people prepare comprehensive plans for the development of rural areas and implement them with unity
Peddapalli: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said that development of the State was possible only when villages were maintained clean and developed on all fronts.
Speaking after participating in Palle Pragathi programme in Kasulapalli village on Monday, Dayakar Rao said development of villages was possible when only the local people prepare comprehensive plans for the development of rural areas and implement them with unity.
Informing that good results were achieved in previous Palle Pragathi programmes, the Minister wanted the people to continue similar spirit in the future. Government managed to overcome current problems within a short period after the formation of Telangana State.
Telangana is the only State, which was supplying 24 hours quality power to farmers. Per acre, Rs 10,000 financial assistance was being provided to farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme. Rs 7,500 crore was deposited in the bank accounts of 60 lakh farmers.
Self-respect of elderly people was also upheld by providing aasara pensions. Despite the financial crisis developed due to Covid pandemic, the government was releasing fund to villages every month without fail. Farmers have been supplied water to farmers by completing Kaleshwaram lift irrigation and SRSP rejuvenation project.
The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has taken special measures to provide every acre of land in erstwhile Karimnagar district.
