Hyderabad: The fifth International Agronomy Congress (IAC) on ‘Agri-Innovations to Combat Food and Nutrition Challenges’ is being organised at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) in collaboration with Indian society of Agronomy from November 23 at PJTSAU campus.
The five-day hybrid IAC conference event will provide a platform for an open and candid dialogue on the current status of science, innovations and solutions to various challenges in our agri-food by bringing the national and international researchers together. The conference will feature different plenary lectures, invited lectures, paper and poster presentations and exhibitions along with the lectures, a press release said.
Out of the 1300 registered participants, 600 will be attending in physical mode while 700 participants will be attending through virtual mode. Dr Praveen Rao, VC, PJTSAU and president, IAC said the conference would be a learning platform for all the scientists about the latest technologies and advancements in the field of agronomy and crop sciences.
