Nalgonda: Energy Minister G Jagdish Reddy on Thursday said candidates of both Congress and BJP would lose their deposits in the by-election to Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency.
Speaking the public gathering during his elections campaign at Lakshmipuram of Nidmanoor mandal in Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency, Jagdish Reddy said that Congress and BJP would bite the dust in by-elections to Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly Constituency and candidates of opposition parties would lose deposits also. The TRS candidate Nomulahagath would get the majority of the votes double to his father Narsimhaiah got in 2018 elections.
Coming down heavily on BJP, he said that the policies of Narendra Modi government have created hardship to the poor people and benefited the corporate forces. He cited privatization of public sector units and hike in the prices of petrol and diesel as an example for it.
Stating that welfare of the people accorded top priority in the agenda of the TRS, he said that Rs 11 thousand crores budgetary allocation was made by the state government for the construction of double bedroom houses. Telangana state has been enjoying a special reputation in implementation of welfare schemes and development programmes due to the vision of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
He said that Jana Reddy would lose his existence in politics after the by-elections. It was recognized by the people that development of Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency was possible only through TRS, hence exhibiting their support to the TRS during the elections campaign of Bhagath. He exuded confidence that the results of Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections would create a new history in the state politics.
TRS candidate Nomula Bhagath, Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav and others were also present.
