Congress, BJP jointly spreading false propaganda linking KTR to Globarena issue, alleges Krishank

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has accused the Congress and BJP of running a coordinated propaganda campaign by linking its working president KT Rama Rao to Globarena, now Coempt Edutech. Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Saturday accused the Congress and the BJP of jointly spreading false propaganda by linking BRS working president KT Rama Rao to Globarena, now renamed Coempt Edutech.

BRS official spokesperson Manne Krishank demanded that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay produce evidence and explain their allegations that the company belonged to Rama Rao.

“If Globarena, now renamed Coempt Edutech, belonged to Rama Rao, how did JNTU grant approvals to the company in 2013? VSN Raju was the company’s CEO and it secured several contracts during the undivided Andhra Pradesh under the Congress government,” he asked at a press conference.

Krishank said Globarena was one of the sponsors of an IT Summit organised in 2012 during the Congress government led by then Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. The summit was held under the leadership of then IT Secretary Sanjay Jaju, who is now the Telangana Chief Secretary.

He said the company’s CEO had also participated in the event as a guest. “Will the Congress now claim that Rama Rao was linked to that event as well?” he asked.

Krishank further pointed out that Union Minister Anurag Thakur had presented an excellence award to Globarena’s CEO in 2023. “Will the BJP also claim that the award establishes a link with Rama Rao?” he asked.

He alleged that the same company, after being renamed Coempt Edutech, was currently managing the Kaloji University website. He also claimed that the Congress government in Karnataka had signed an agreement with the company for Karnataka University last year.

Krishank challenged both the Congress and the BJP to seek a proper investigation instead of indulging in what he described as a propaganda campaign.
