Congress, BJP workers protest at KTR’s programmes in Hyderabad
They complained that protocol was not being maintained at the programme.
Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed at LB Nagar where Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated twin reservoirs in Vasavinagar, after Congress party leaders raised slogans against the government alleging that protocol was not being maintained at the programme.
Led by Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy, the Congress party leaders entered into arguments with TRS leaders and Ministers alleging that the programme had commenced before their arrival. Later, they also cleared the TRS banners put up at the venue and staged a dharna on the Kothapet-Nagole road resulting in a traffic jam on the route.
Earlier, BJP leaders too tried to disrupt the programme at Adikmet where the MAUD Minister inaugurated the multipurpose sports complex.They complained that protocol was not being maintained at the programme.
