Congress-BRS leaders lock horns over drug test challenge

Hyderabad: The Congress and the BRS leaders continue to lock horns over the drug test challenges, blaming each other for not having guts to face them.
BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy shot back at Congress MP Anil Kumar Yadav and MLC Balmuri Venkat who challenged him for a drug test, daring them to declare date, time and place.
Recently, Anil Kumar Yadav and Balmuri Venkat accused several BRS leaders of indulging in drug consumption and dared them to undergo drug testing.
In response, Kaushik Reddy accepted the challenge. On Tuesday, both the Congress leaders visited AIG Hospitals at Gachibowli and claimed that the BRS leaders chickened out after accepting their challenge.
In a video statement, BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy condemned the manner in which MP Anil Kumar Yadav approached the issue. “Anil came to the hospital without informing us, sneaking in like a thief. If he had notified the media and us, all our 28 MLAs would have been waiting at AIG hospital,” Kaushik Reddy said.
He challenged the Congress MP to set a date and location for a public drug test. “Come with your Cabinet Ministers and MLAs, and we will be there too, along with BRS MLAs and MPs to undergo the tests,” he said.
