Sangareddy: In a quite revealing statement, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Monday said the Congress cadre were not happy with the government and the Congress leadership. Whatever may be the reasons, he said he had seen the disappointment among the cadre.

Addressing party workers in Sangareddy town, the TPCC president observed that the cadre had every right to express their disappointment over the leadership, who were there only because of the party workers.

He said even the MLAs and other elected representatives would lose their posts if the Congress cadre got angry. Efforts would be soon made to resolve their issues to satisfy them, he said, adding that the victory in the elections was just the semifinals and called upon the party workers to stay united until Rahul Gandhi became the Prime Minister.

Stating that leaders in Congress enjoy freedom within the party, Goud said Congress leaders used to criticize each other over various issues when he took up the responsibility of resolving the differences. Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha, MLA P Sanjeeva Reddy, Congress leaders T Jagga Reddy, Gali Anil Kumar and others were present.
