Congress cadres will get priority in nominated posts, says Mahesh Goud

Telangana PCC president B Mahesh Goud acknowledged disappointment among Congress cadres over limited opportunities during the last three years. He said loyal party workers, DCC presidents and block Congress presidents would receive priority in upcoming nominated posts.

Medak: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President B Mahesh Goud accepted that Congress cadres and leaders were a bit disappointed since they could not get due opportunities during the last three years of Congress rule.

Speaking to news reporters after participating in the Congress Public Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting in Medak on Monday, Mahesh Goud said that the Congress Party will give priority to Congress leaders and cadres who constantly worked for the party during the past few years. He further said that the DCC presidents, block Congress presidents and others will get top priority in nominated posts, on which the party will take a decision shortly.

Responding to internal bickerings in the wake of Minister Konda Surekha’s daughter Susmitha’s comments, the PCC President said that the disciplinary committee had presented a preliminary report to AICC and PCC already on this episode. He said that the high command will take an appropriate decision on this. He clarified that the party will not tolerate anyone if they are found working against the interests of the party.

He also lashed out at BJP MP M Raghunandan Rao, who exposed the Congress government’s inability to supply 24-hour power. The absence of district in-charge minister G Vivekananda raised several eyebrows. Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasaimha, MLAs Patlolla Sanjeeva Reddy, Mynampally Rohith and others were present.
