Congress candidate Naveen Yadav steps up door-to-door campaign in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad: Seeking to pick pace in the campaign for the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency, Congress candidate V Naveen Yadav on Thursday participated in a door-to-door campaign in slums in Jawahar Nagar and Rahmath Nagar.
For the campaign, Naveen Yadav was joined by Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Seethakka, and they distributed handouts that highlighted the six guarantees and various welfare schemes to the voters. The Minister sought to assure the voters of overall development in the constituency if they rightly chose and supported the Congress in the by-election. The campaigners also focused on petty vendors and shopkeepers.
Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar held a meeting with party supporters in Yousufguda and participated in the door-to-door campaign. Naveen Yadav’s wife, Varsha Yadav, also took part in the campaign at Vengalrao Nagar and Jawaharnagar. Folk singer Narsi Reddy, known as ‘Nalgonda Gaddar’, was also there singing folk songs and impressing the voters in Borabanda.
