Hyderabad: Claiming that the Congress party does not indulge in vendetta politics, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Thursday said the law was taking its own course after Governor Jishnu Dev Varma accorded permission for BRS working president KT Rama Rao’s prosecution in the Formula E race case.

Addressing the media here, Goud argued that if Congress pursued vendetta, several BRS leaders would already be jailed.

“If the Congress party believed in vendetta politics, BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao, Rama Rao, former Minister T Harish Rao and MLC K Kavitha would have been in jail by now,” he claimed while speaking to the media here.

“If Revanth Reddy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a secret pact, the Governor would have accorded permission six months ago. We follow due procedure,” Goud asserted.
