Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday alleged that the Congress party was extorting money from the rich people in the name of HYDRAA and paying it to the party high command.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Sanjay Kumar said that when HYDRAA was formed, they thought that the government would demolish buildings constructed by rich people by occupying tanks and ponds. However, the houses of poor and middle class people were being demolished, leaving them homeless. People have constructed houses only after getting permission from the government. However, the same government was demolishing them calling them as illegal structures.
