Sangareddy: In a gross violation of protocol, officials have not invited Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar to the public meeting addressed by the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at Ambedkar stadium in Sangareddy on Saturday.

Even though it was a Civil Supplies department programme, it appeared like a Congress public meeting as the Congress leaders from Sangareddy, Medak and Siddipet occupied the dais. Even though the photograph of Chintha Prabhakar was placed along with Medak BJP MP M Raghunandan Rao and MLC C Anji Reddy on a flexi banner on the dais, the BRS MLA from Sangareddy was not invited to the programme.

While TPCC Working President T Jagga Reddy and his wife T Nirmala, who does not hold any protocol posts, stole the show at the expense of the government, the public turned as mute spectators to the protocol violations. Neither the Chief Minister nor the three ministers addressed the meeting mentioned the names of local MP and MLAs while mentioning every Congress leader sitting on the dais. Even Jubilee Hills MLA, Naveen Yadav was also seen sitting on the dais.

The absence of MP Raghunandan Rao, Anji Reddy, Chintha Prabhakar, Zaheerabad MLA K Manik Rao and other elected public representatives from the opposition parties raised several eyebrows. The gathering at the meeting was also seen discussing the absence of the local MP and MLA.

Shockingly, the Chief Minister and Minister did not even utter the name of District Collector Prateek Jain and other officials. The Collector was made to sit in the second row while Congress leader A Chandrashekhar, Nirmala and Jagga Reddy were seen sitting in the first row. Congress leaders Kata Srinivas Goud, Neelam Madhu Mudiraj, Pujala Harkrishna, Ujwal Reddy, Avula Raji Reddy and several others have occupied the dais.
