Says officials including Additional DGP (Intelligence) instructed not to act harshly against UoH students

HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said the State government would abide by the Supreme Court directions on the Kancha Gachibowli land issue.

In a joint statement issued on Thursday, the Deputy Chief Minister and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu said the required information sought by Supreme Court would be submitted within the stipulated time.


“The State government has full faith in the Supreme Court. Justice will prevail,” they said.

Officials, including Additional DGP (Intelligence) and Cyberabad Commissioners, have been instructed not to act harshly against the University of Hyderabad students, they added.
