Hyderabad: After triggering a row by stating that the University of Hyderabad would be shifted to the proposed Fourth City, Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi said the State government would initiate measures for establishing an IT Park in the contentious 400 acres at Kancha Gachibowli while adhering to Supreme Court directions.
The apex court also did not deliver any order saying those lands were forest lands. Since 20 years, no work was taken up in the land, greenery and bushes had grown in the lands, he claimed at a press conference here on Friday. When false information was shared, it was the duty of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to verify facts and speak accordingly, the Nagarkurnool MP said.
He stressed that the Congress government had implemented many welfare and development programmes within short period. The BRS was only trying to instigate people against the Congress government in the State. What was the relationship between Bangladesh and Telangana and why would people revolt against the Congress government, he asked.
“The Congress government will continue for the next four years. Even for the next 20 years also, Congress will be in the power,” Ravi claimed.
