Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Thursday said Cabinet Ministers from the State had met AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi and discussed the implementation of the six guarantees and other issues concerning the State government and the party.

“We have implemented a majority of the six guarantees. There are still three years to go and we will implement all of them. The Congress will come to power again in the State,” he said.
Goud spoke to the media after the Congress high command conducted a two-hour review meeting on the Telangana government’s performance over the past two years. He said various issues relating to the government and the party were discussed during the meeting. The AICC leadership also offered suggestions on future strategies and sought feedback from the Ministers on several matters.

The TPCC president said the party would fill nominated posts in the first week of March and party organisational posts by March 15.
“We will fill the nominated posts in the first week of March and party posts by March 15. We will go to the elections only after implementing all the guarantees,” he said.

On the Rajya Sabha elections, Goud said the AICC leadership would invite Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and himself for further discussions in the next two to three days. He said issues relating to Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy were also discussed during the meeting and that the AICC leadership would hold talks with him.

“Congress MP Rahul Gandhi inquired about the various issues related to the government, party affairs and State politics,” Goud added.
