Sangareddy: Differences within the Congress came to the fore during TPCC President B Mahesh Kumar Goud‘s visit to Sangareddy on Monday as Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, who joined the Congress from the BRS post the 2023 elections, and party Patancheru constituency in-charge Kata Srinivas Goud stayed away from the meeting.
It was not the first time these two leaders skipped the Congress meeting. They had skipped another meeting organised at Chitkul in Patancheru constituency recently in which district in-charge Minister Konda Surekha participated.
The TPCC president reportedly enquired about the absence of these two key leaders during his meeting. Goud’s convoy went through the Patancheru constituency and the Congress cadre took a rally from the Ganesh temple at Rudraram which also falls under the constituency. However, they did not come to meet the TPCC president.
