Congress leader joins TRS in Dubbak
Several Congress Party workers have also joined in TRS on Tuesday
Siddipet: Congress Party has suffered a huge set back in Thoguta Mandal, which was believed to be a stronghold of Cheruku Muthyam Reddy’s family, as a Congress Mandal President Lakshman Goud joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the presence of Harish Rao and Prabhakar Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Lakshman Goud has alleged that they were deeply disappointed as Congress leadership has allowed Cheruku Srinvas Reddy into Congress Party’s fold, who joined TRS ahead of 2018 Assembly election. Several Congress Party workers have also joined in TRS today. Addressing them on Tuesday in Thoguta, Rao has said that the construction of Mallanna Sagar was a bit delayed since the Congress Party and BJP Parties have filed cases against the project in the courts.
Saying that the two Opposition parties have tried to show the land acquisition as a major issue for their political gain, Rao has said that the two opposition parties have lost their credibility among the public as Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has completed Kondapochamma Sagar and Ranganayaka Sagar within no time.
Rao has said that they will complete the Mallanna Sagar project very soon to bring each and every acre in Dubbak Constituency under irrigation.
Saying that the Congress and BJP, which failed to supply free power to the farming sector, have lost the right to seek the vote, he has said they will present R&R (rehabilitation and resettlement) package on par with Kondapochamma and Ranganayaka Sagar oustees to displaced under Mallanna Sagar.
Assuring to grant double bedroom houses to Dubbak, the TRS senior leader has called upon the people to elect TRS candidate in Dubbak by election Solipeta Sujatha with a massive majority. MLA, Andole, Chanti Kranthi Kiran, ZPTC, Thoguta, G Indrasena Reddy and others were present.
Meanwhile, the Thoguta Police have checked the car of Finance Minister T Harish Rao who was coming to Thoguta to attend an election rally, at Rampur Chowrasta in Thoguta Mandal. The Minister along with MP, Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and other leaders were proceeding to Thoguta to participate in an election campaign. However, the Police did not find anything in the vehicles.
