Congress leader’s mother murdered in Jagtial’s Nachupally village
Premalatha (60), mother of Congress leader Meneni Rajanarsinga Rao, was murdered in Nachupally village on Wednesday night. Her body was found in a pit beside her house. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the brutal killing.

According to police, the victim was bludgeoned to death with sticks. The attackers later dumped her body in a pit beside her house. She was reportedly living alone at the time of the incident.
Local residents alerted the police on Thursday morning after discovering the body. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
