HYDERABAD: The Telangana Congress unit’s protest against Union government at Enforcement Directorate office here on Thursday turned into a platform for leaders to use filthy language to abuse Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers.
In what went beyond the usual definition of unparliamentary language, some leaders were heard using cuss words as former MPs, MLCs and other leaders made a scathing attack on the Union government for registering case against Congress MPs Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in connection with the National Herald case. Congress MLC Addanki Dayakar charged that after failing to fight against Rahul Gandhi politically, the Union government was booking fabricated cases.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah are thieves. Gandhi family sacrificed their lives for the country but these two developed hatred against such a family,” Dayakar said, using objectionable language to describe the Prime Minister and Home Minister.
Former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav made comments against Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy using abusive words and cuss words, with women leaders who were participating in the protest being shocked with his choice of words.
Videos of the Congress leaders abusing the Prime Minister and Union Ministers are going viral on different social media platforms.
