Congress online poll debacle: Social media head likely to be sacked

When A Revanth Reddy served as TPCC president, Manne Satish backed him through social media campaigns and various activities. Hyderabad: After the online poll conducted by the Telangana Congress official X handle backfired miserably and put the party in a spot, speculations are rife that the party leadership is seriously considering dismissal of social media team head Manne Satish. He is also the chairman of Telangana Technology Services.

When A Revanth Reddy was TPCC president, Manne Satish had supported him through social media campaigns and other activities. However, following the online poll debacle, Satish is reportedly facing the axe.

There is buzz in the party circles that Peddapalli MP G Vamshi and son of Chennur MLA G Vivek, who owns a Telugu newspaper and a news channel, is being considered. Vivek is also one among the aspirants who are seeking cabinet berth.

Similarly, Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy’s son Gutta Amit is also a front runner for the party’s social media team head post. Amit Reddy is chairman of Telangana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation.

The decision to replace Satish is expected to be taken anytime soon.
