Khammam: The 1,000-day Congress rule has been mired in hatred and destructive policies, alleged former Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar.

In a statement here on Wednesday he alleged that Congress leaders were resorting to diversionary politics by stirring up fresh political issues to distract the public from discussing the government’s failures.

Ajay Kumar noted that there was deep public dissatisfaction with the Revanth Reddy government’s rule and claimed that the government was engaging in cheap politics to cover up discontent and opposition among the public.

He asserted that no amount of diversionary politics could mislead the public or absolve the government of the need to answer for people’s issues, the implementation of election promises, and its own failures.

The former Minister emphasised that the people and the BRS would continue to expose the government’s shortcomings regardless of its attempts to distract them.

The public noticed the government’s efforts to stifle the voice of the opposition in the Assembly and would teach it a fitting lesson at the right time, he added.
