Hyderabad: The State unit of Congress party is likely to get a major jolt as Sangareddy MLA and TPCC working president T Jagga Reddy is set to take a decision on quitting or continuing in the party by afternoon today.
Speaking to media persons at a private hotel here, the Sangareddy MLA said few people, who were inexperienced and not familiar with party functioning, were trying to defame him with ulterior motives.
“I cannot take this humiliation from a few leaders in the party,” said Jagga Reddy. On the future plans or switching loyalties to other parties, he said no decision was taken yet.
Party senior leaders including former MP V Hanumantha Rao are trying to pacify Jagga Reddy and are appealing him not to take any decisions in haste.
Of late, there have been differences between Jagga Reddy and few leaders, especially TPCC president A Revanth Reddy.
In December, the Sangareddy MLA had even appealed to AICC president Sonia Gandhi to direct the TPCC president to change his style of functioning or appoint a new TPCC Chief, who works for the party’s development in the State.
