Suryapet: Huzurnagar MLA Shanampudi Saidi Reddy on Sunday alleged that Congress leaders were disturbing the peaceful atmosphere in tribal hamlets (thandas) in his Assembly constituency for their own political gains.
Speaking after inaugurating TRS youth wing office at Mattampally in the district, Saidi Reddy said Congress leaders were trying to give political colour to even disputes between family members in tribal hamlets and spoiling the peaceful atmosphere. “People are laughing at Congress leader N Uttam Kumar Reddy’s comments which are far from the truth. It is unfortunate that he is making baseless allegations,” he said, adding that people were aware of the funds brought to the Assembly constituency in the last three years by him and also by Uttam Kumar Reddy as MP of the area. He came out with a proposal to Uttam to work in competition for the development of Huzurnagar Assembly constituency.
Reminding that TRS has emerged as a strong political party under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he said welfare schemes and development projects, which have been taken up by the Chief Minister, have brought special recognition to Telangana state at the national level. He pointed out that Telangana state stood on top on welfare and development in the country within a short span of seven years.
