Jagtial: Korutla MLA Dr K Sanjay Kumar alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy‘s family was trying to loot Rs.5 lakh crore of public money by converting industrial lands into real estate properties in Hyderabad.

Terming the Chief Minister a real estate broker, the legislator said Hyderabad’s real estate sector had collapsed because of Revanth Reddy. He compared the current situation to the pre-independence era, stating that while the British looted the country then, Congress leaders were looting the state now. Anticipating such a situation, Mahatma Gandhi had advised dissolving the Congress party after independence, he claimed while addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan in Jagtial on Monday.

He further said the Congress party itself means ‘Scamgress’ and alleged that the State government led by Revanth Reddy was trying to loot 10,000 acres of land related to industries.

He added that it was the responsibility of Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar to protect Telangana’s lands and urged the minister not to get distracted.

Demanding that BJP leaders respond to the alleged Rs.5 lakh crore scam, the MLA appealed to the people and youth to question the government about the land issue.
