Sangareddy: A woman leader of the Congress party staged a sit-in protest at the MPDO office in Jinnaram municipality, accusing party leaders of cheating her by denying the B-form.

Neelam Srilatha, who filed her nomination for the fourth ward of Jinnaram municipality, said the Congress party issued the B-form to another woman from the same ward on Tuesday, the last day for the withdrawal of nominations. She reached the MPDO office, where nominations were filed, and staged a protest alleging injustice.

Srilatha alleged that Congress leaders Srikanth Reddy and Vadla Krishna cheated her by denying the B-form. She asserted that no Congress leader would win the election in Jinnaram municipality and alleged that Telangana was witnessing the worst rule under the Congress government.

Stating that she was aggrieved by the actions of local leaders, Srilatha said she would bring the issue to the notice of TPCC President Mahesh Goud and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
