Khammam: Telangana State Teachers Federation (TRTF) district president G Jeevan has asked the State government to take into account category seniority in allocating employees to new districts.
In a statement here on Friday, he urged the government to give priority to local cadre employees. He asked to announce the district-wise details of total sanctioned posts, working and vacant posts before the teachers give their options for preference of cadre.
He said juniors would be forced to move to areas other than their own if preference was given to seniority only. Local cadre employees should not be forced to give their options for cadre and only non-local cadres employees should be asked for their preference of cadre.
Jeevan appealed to the government to consider employees on dialysis under the special category in a humanitarian standpoint as they have to go to the dialysis centre once in two days for dialysis.
