Constable ends life by jumping in front of train in Khammam

The local police booked a case and launched a probe in connection with the incident. The reasons for the constable’s extreme step were not known.

Khammam: A police constable working at Nelakondapalli police station has died, allegedly by jumping before a speeding train, at Srinivas Nagar area in Khammam.

Bandi Krishna (39) of Rebbavaram in Wyra mandal in the district had left home on Tuesday evening but did not return. When the family members started searching for him, his body was found on the railway track at Srinivasa Nagar.


The local police booked a case and launched a probe in connection with the incident. The reasons for the constable’s extreme step were not known.
