Suryapet: Tensions escalated at Penpahad Police Station today as constable and a home guard fought in the open leading to suspension of both. The altercation between constable Ravi and home guard Srinu reportedly owed to differences over sharing of unofficial payments.

The issue came to light when the issue came to the notice of higher authorities, prompting immediate action.
