Constable held for cheating woman after 11-year relationship in Hyderabad
A Hyderabad police constable has been arrested for allegedly cheating a woman with whom he maintained a relationship for over a decade before marrying another. The woman accused him of forcing multiple abortions and even booking a function hall for their proposed wedding before abandoning her.

Hyderabad: A police constable, Arun Kumar, has been arrested by Uppal police for allegedly cheating a woman after maintaining a relationship with her for nearly 11 years and later marrying another woman.
According to the police, Arun met the woman while pursuing M.Tech and promised to marry her. She alleged that she became pregnant several times and that Arun forced her to undergo abortions, saying they should not have children at that time.
The woman further claimed that Arun had also paid Rs 50,000 as an advance for a function hall for their proposed marriage on November 1. However, he allegedly married another woman on July 1.
After learning about the marriage, the woman approached Uppal police and lodged a complaint.
Based on the complaint, a case was booked against Arun Kumar and he was subsequently arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
