Constable shoots self at Telangana DGP’s office, suicide note found
A police constable posted at the Telangana DGP’s Office in Hyderabad allegedly died by suicide after shooting himself with his service weapon. A note recovered from the scene stated that his wife and children should not be blamed.

Hyderabad: A police constable posted at the Telangana DGP’s Office, Lakdikapul allegedly died by suicide after shooting himself with his service weapon in the early hours of Thursday.
The policeman has been identified as Swamy, who was on duty at the DGP’s office in Hyderabad.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at around 5.30 am when he allegedly shot himself inside a washroom on the premises.
A suicide note purportedly written by him was reportedly recovered from the spot. In the handwritten note, Swamy is said to have requested that no one blame his wife and children for his decision.
He reportedly wrote that they were good people and expressed that even after his death, he would continue to watch over them.
The police shifted the body for a postmortem examination and registered a case. An investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the alleged suicide. Further details are awaited.
