Container lorry skids off NH-44 bridge near Toopran, driver and helper escape
A container lorry travelling from New Delhi to Bengaluru skidded off an NH-44 bridge across the Haldi Vagu near Toopran. The driver and his assistant survived with minor injuries. Police registered a case, and both were shifted to the Toopran government hospital

Medak: A container lorry driver lost control of his vehicle, which then slipped off the road from a bridge built across Haldi Vagu on NH-44 near Toopran town.
According to eyewitnesses, the container lorry was proceeding towards Bengaluru from New Delhi. The driver, Vimal Yadav, was reportedly driving the vehicle at high speed when he lost control over the steering wheel. Yadav and his assistant Vikas escaped with minor injuries as the container lorry came to a stop barely metres away from the flowing stream.
The police have registered a case, while Yadav and Vikas were shifted to the government hospital in Toopran.
