Hyderabad: Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday said sincere attempts would be made to revive Nizam Sugar Factory (NSF) since the government was committed to the development of farmers and the State.
The revival of the factory was earlier discussed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the Assembly on introducing a cooperative format like in Maharashtra. “Since the issue is now with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the government will come out with a strategy and a suitable contingency plan after the matter is resolved,” he said.
Rama Rao was replying to a suggestion made by Congress MLC T Jeevan Reddy in the State Legislative Council here on Friday.
