Hyderabad: Andhra took command in the Cooch Behar Elite Group D match against Hyderabad on the third day taking an overall lead of 188 runs, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday.
After posting 403 in their first innings, Andhra skittled out Hyderabad to 263 runs in their first innings. In the second innings, Andhra were 48/1 at stumps on Day Three, swelling the overall lead to 188 runs.
Earlier, resuming the day at 98/5, Hyderabad managed to post 263 runs thanks to half-centuries from Dheeraj Goud (58 off 196) and N Nitin Sai Yadav (68 off 134). For the Andhra outfit, Mallikarjuna scalped four wickets for 57 while M Deepak and KS Raju took two each.
