Hyderabad: Andhra took three points by virtue of the first innings lead against Hyderabad after drawing their Elite Group D Cooch Behar match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday.

Andhra posted 403 runs in their first innings and then restricted Hyderabad to 263 runs to take a 140-run first innings lead, that proved decisive. Resuming at 48/1, Andhra declared their innings at 184/1 with both overnight batters KS Raju (83 not out) and B Sujhan (78 not out) scoring half centuries. Hyderabad then posted 150/3 in 42.2 overs with the help of Sarthak Bharadwaj’s 69-run knock.
