Teaser of Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Peddanna’ unveiled by Venkatesh

Hyderabad: It must have been ages since Superstar Rajinikanth’s fans heard his voice or watched him on-screen. His last movie, ‘Darbar’, was released in January 2020. Now, the long wait seems to have ended. He is coming as ‘Peddanna’ to greet audiences this Diwali. The Telugu teaser of ‘Peddanna’ was formally unveiled by Venkatesh Daggubati on Saturday.
So far, you have only seen the good side of a rural man. Now you will see his rage, warns Rajinikanth. The Superstar of the south will be shown as a man with grit who is adored by his people. As per the looks of the teaser, the high-intense action drama ‘Peddanna’ portrays Rajinikanth in a larger-than-life character who people idolise for his work.
The movie is all set to hit the screens worldwide this Diwali, on November 4.
The teaser shows Rajinikanth playing a typical villager as he takes on his opponents. Bankrolled by Narayandas Narang and Suresh Babu of Asian Infra Estates LLP, the movie will be releasing in Telugu states in both Telugu and Tamil languages. Mouthing such powerful dialogues in the teaser, the star is seen in his usual style and swag as a villager wearing a ‘pancha’.
Besides the heavy action blocks, ‘Peddanna’ has scenes of festivities, and celebrations only to give a hint that the movie is arriving on Diwali. Directed by Siva, the film features Nayanthara playing Rajinikanth’s lady-love, while Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu, Meena, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj will be seen in key roles. However, the makers didn’t show any of these additional characters in the teaser.
