Kothagudem: The Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt has appealed to the public in the district not to venture out during night hours in view of the orders issued by the State government enforcing curfew from 9 pm to 5 am.
He asked the people to extend their cooperation in enforcing night curfew in the wake of the fresh wave of the covid-19. All business establishments, government and private offices have to be closed by 8 pm. Those violating the curfew orders would be punished, he warned.
In another statement the District Collector MV Reddy also appealed to the public to extend their support to the district administration and the police in implementing the curfew. Those coming out on emergency purposes during curfew should show valid reason, he said.
