Cop killed in accident in Hyderabad
A tipper lorry ahead of the car applied sudden brakes. Eswaraiah rammed his car into the tipper and sustained serious injuries.
Hyderabad: A head constable died in an accident at Kukatpally on Tuesday night.
The policeman, Eswaraiah, who worked with the Shamshabad police station in Cyberabad, was returning home in his car when the incident happened at 1 am.
“A tipper lorry ahead of the car applied sudden brakes. Eswaraiah rammed his car into the tipper and sustained serious injuries. He was shifted to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” said KPHB police.
The incident happened on the flyover near Forum Mall on the Kukatpally road.
A case was booked and the police shifted the body to the mortuary.
