They pooled in Rs 1.61 lakh in cash which was handed over to the family of the constable from the hands of Husnabad ACP Mahendar

Siddipet: Colleagues and officers have extended financial help to the family members of a constable who died of Covid-19 in Siddipet recently.

They pooled in Rs 1.61 lakh in cash which was handed over to the family of the constable from the hands of Husnabad ACP Mahendar. The ACP said Biragoni Bheemaiah, who was working at Koheda Police Station, succumbed to Covid on April 25. To support Bheemaiah’s family, Mahendar said Husnabad Inspector Ragupathi Reddy, Sub-Inspector Koheda Raj Kumar, constables and other staff had pooled in funds. The ACP also promised to get all the benefits Bheemaiah is entitled to from the department shortly.
