Coromandel partners with Samunnati for agri-input distribution
Coromandel International Limited has signed an MoU with Samunnati Agri Value Chain Solutions to strengthen the supply and distribution of agri-inputs to Farmer Producer Organisations across India. The partnership aims to improve market access, sustainability and financial inclusion for farmers.
Hyderabad: Noted agri-solutions provider Coromandel International Limited on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samunnati Agri Value Chain Solutions Private Limited, a leading agri-ecosystem platform. The collaboration will facilitate the supply, promotion and distribution of agri-inputs to Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) across India.
The MoU was signed by Madhab Adhikari, EVP & Business Head (Fertiliser, SSP & Nano), Coromandel, and Suresh Rajagopalan, Executive Director, Samunnati, in the presence of Narayanan Vellayan, Executive Director – Crop Nutrition, Coromandel, and other senior officials of both organisations, a press release said.
On the occasion, Narayanan Vellayan said, “This partnership with Samunnati aligns with our commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable agri-solutions to farmers across India.”
“Collaboration with Coromandel will help strengthen last-mile access to quality agri-inputs, promote sustainable farming practices and create greater value for FPOs, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) and farmers through integrated market linkage and financial inclusion solutions,” said Suresh Rajagopalan, Executive Director, Samunnati.
