Counter misinformation campaign by Opposition parties: KTR

TRS working President wanted the party leaders to work in complete coordination for the next one week and approach every graduate voter to seek votes for party candidates

Hyderabad: TRS working president and MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao has asked the party leaders to strongly counter the misinformation campaign of the Opposition parties on filling vacant posts in government departments and employment generation in the State.

He said the TRS government had filled 1.33 lakh jobs so far and will take up recruitment to another 50,000 posts in different departments soon. He wanted the party leaders to work in complete coordination with each other for the next one week which was crucial for the MLCs polls and approach every graduate voter to seek votes for party candidates Surabhi Vani Devi and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy.


Rama Rao held a teleconference on Friday with the party cadre from the Graduates constituencies of Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad and Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam where MLC elections are being held.

The TRS working president instructed the party leaders to provide all possible support to the party candidates and strive for their victory in the MLC elections. He pointed out that Rajeshwar Reddy was in the forefront in poll campaign and had been touring extensively in the graduates constituency of Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam. He spoke out the initiatives of the State government including three medical colleges for erstwhile Nalgonda district, IT industries coming up in Warangal city and also Khammam city besides a TASK (Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge) centre in all three districts.

He observed that the candidature of Vani Devi for Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar constituency had received a positive response even from her opponents. He pointed out that Hyderabad made tremendous progress under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao over the last seven years, attracting huge investments and creating employment opportunities for scores of people.

Rama Rao advised the party ranks to bring the development in Hyderabad to the attention of the urban educated. He wanted the TRS leaders to explain the achievements of the the party to every graduate voters and seek votes.

Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar and other leaders were also present.
