Sangareddy: A young couple, Begari Ramesh (38) and Begari Anitha (32), died by suicide at their residence in Pedda Gopularam village of Munipally mandal, leaving behind their three children orphaned.
According to the police and family members, the couple had been quarrelling over family-related issues for the last three months. On Monday evening, they returned home from work as usual. However, they were found hanging from the ceiling of their house on Tuesday morning.
The couple’s children — Archana (12), Anuradha (8) and Harsith (5) — are now left without parents. As an immediate gesture of support, Trisha, daughter of Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha and founder of the Rajanarasimha Foundation, sent Rs 20,000 to the family to help perform the final rites of the couple.
Munipally Inspector D Venkatesh registered a case and initiated further investigation. Villagers have appealed to the government to come forward and extend support to the three orphaned children.
