Couple killed in car-bike collision on NH 44 in Adilabad
A couple died after a car hit their motorcycle near Gandharinagar in Echoda mandal on NH 44 in Adilabad district on Monday. Their daughter sustained minor injuries. Police registered a hit-and-run case against the car driver following a complaint by a relative.
Adilabad: A man and his wife were killed when a car hit their motorcycle near Gandharinagar in Echoda mandal on NH 44 on Monday. While the motorcycle rider, Tayyub (45), died on the spot, his wife Farhana Begum (40), from Gandhinagar, died while being shifted to a hospital. Their daughter Muskan received minor injuries and is recuperating. The couple was on their way to Gandhinagar from Adilabad at the time of the mishap. Based on a complaint lodged by Ayub, brother of Farhana, a hit-and-run case was registered against Sagar, the driver of the car from Adilabad.
