Adilabad: People from all walks of life and TRS activists across the State are celebrating Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s birthday in innovative ways. A couple in Mukhra (K), a village in Echoda mandal, showed their gratitude for the Chief Minister by naming their baby boy after Chandrashekhar Rao.
Wagmare Bhagyasri, wife of Chandrakanth, gave birth to a baby boy recently. The couple named their son after Chandrashekhar Rao in an expression of gratitude and love for the Chief Minister for ensuring financial empowerment of the family by providing them three acres of land under Dalit Basti scheme. They said their family has so far received benefits worth Rs Rs 22 lakh by way of various schemes implemented by the State government.
Meanwhile, village sarpanch Gadge Meenakshi gifted various articles and a cradle for the boy. She performed a yagam and ksheerabhisekam to flexi posters of Chandrasekhar Rao to mark the birthday celebrations in agriculture fields. She stated that many families were financially empowered besides developing socially due to the initiatives of the State government in the past seven years.
