Couple’s dispute ends in murder of man in Medak

A 50-year-old man, Kondapuram Ramulu, was reportedly beaten to death by his wife and son following a dispute at Islampur in Toopran mandal late on Friday night. The accused reportedly surrendered, while police are investigating the case.

Medak: Differences between a couple led to the murder of a man at Islampur in Toopran mandal late on Friday night. The man, Kondapuram Ramulu (50), who was eking out a livelihood by working on a borewell rig, had picked up an argument with his wife on Friday night, which led to a scuffle.

The woman and their son reportedly threw chilli powder in Ramulu’s eyes and beat him to death. The accused reportedly surrendered before the police.

However, the police are yet to confirm their arrest. The body was taken to the government hospital in Toopran for postmortem. A case was registered and the probe was on.
