Hyderabad: A local court on Wednesday granted bail to BRSV state president Gellu Srinivas Yadav and 13 others in connection with the recent attack on Mahaa News channel. All 14 accused were granted bail in the case registered by the Jubilee police following the incident at the media outlet’s premises.

Reportedly, Srinivas Yadav and others attacked the office of the news channel on Saturday, after it was reportedly found to have posted vulgar content and made objectionable remarks against BRS working president KT Rama Rao in connection with the phone tapping case.

Based on a complaint from the Mahaa News management, the police registered the case and arrested the BRS leaders from Telangana Bhavan on Saturday night, amid high tension. On Sunday, the accused were presented before the court where they were all granted bail.
